The Emergencies Partnership: LIVE Spotlight Posters Call Out

We are excited to invite submission for spotlight poster presentations at Emergencies Partnership: LIVE, taking place on Thursday 08 October 2026 at Cloth Hall Court in Leeds.

Posters will be a vital part of our first in-person event and are an excellent opportunity for organisations and groups across the voluntary and community sector (VCS), resilience and response worlds to share reports, research, case studies and showcase best practice.

If you’ve got a project or a piece of work you want to share with the sector, read on and consider submitting your entry:

Submission Guide –

We welcome submissions from partnership members and beyond, if you’re involved in a project around community or societal resilience, preparedness, response or recovery - we want to hear from you.

We welcome spotlight posters from professionals across the VCS, resilience world, researchers, students or volunteers.

We will provide poster boards to display submissions. Our only ask is that you are in attendance on the day to connect with colleagues, answer questions and share details of your work.

In addition to the poster display on the day, we’ll also collect electronic PDF copies that we will promote and share online after the event.

Poster Format –

Posters should include a clear and concise title, including full names of authors and affiliate organisations.

Suggested format - Background/Aims, methods, results, conclusion/impact.

Posters with 800 words or less are ideal.

The poster should be self contained and tell the full story of the piece of work, i.e. not just display findings/results without context that the reader needs to understand

Submission Tips –

Use plain language - avoid jargon or unexplained acronyms.

Consider accessibility, such as font size, brail or easy read.

Proofread for clarity and grammar.

Poster Size –

Posters should ideally be A0 (841 x 1189 mm) and in portrait style.

They must be printed and authors/organisations are required to set up their own posters.

It is good practice to include a QR that links to an electronic version of your poster.

Submission Deadline –

Submissions will not be accepted after 01 September 2026.
