VCS Skills and Support in Emergencies Guide
The VCS Skills and Support in Emergencies Guide is a tool that we believe can help government to better engage with the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) at a time of significant or whole system civil emergency. The guide shares information on the different types of VCFS partners the government should consider, lists their key capabilities and suggests five crucial considerations for how to draw on the full potential of the sector.
This guide is just that, a guide, and so Central Government departments and agencies must undertake their own due diligence, suitability and capacity checks of organisations as part of engagement.
