We’ve done a bit of a deep dive on the Autumn Budget, looking through a resilience lens, and considering the impact on our VCFS partners to deliver the great work they do to build resilience in our communities.
We’ve created a summary below that may help partners digest the budget quickly and consider the risks and impact on them and the people they support. As partners will have picked up from the headlines; there is some good news (removal of child benefit cap and reduced household energy costs) and some more bad news (rising employment costs, again). We knew it was going to be a budget of tough choices.
The EP will continue to advocate for investment in the sector and the vital community groups that support households who need it most.
