Continuing our focus on exercising, this is a great opportunity to take part in a dynamic, scenario-based session designed to test information flow, build a shared understanding of organisational strengths and capabilities, and explore how we work together to support communities during a water outage.

The scenario has been developed in close partnership with DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs), ensuring it reflects real-world policy and operational challenges associated with managing a major water incident.

Across the session, you’ll explore how voluntary, community and faith sector (VCFS) partners contribute at every stage of an incident, from early risk identification and planning, through to response and recovery, with a clear focus on supporting those most at risk.
